A former letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service pleaded guilty this week to theft of government property in connection with a scheme to fraudulently obtain more than $25,000 in workers' compensation benefits, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.
Doreen Allen, 51, of Temple Hills, Maryland, was employed by the Postal Service as a city carrier at the Capital Heights, Maryland, Processing and Distribution Facility.
