An Oklahoma law stating that the combined sum of a claimant's permanent partial disability awards may not exceed a 100% rating does not apply to amputations, surgeries and Multiple Injury Trust Fund awards, the state Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday. The high court resolved conflicting case law about statutory limitations on permanent partial disability awards in the case of Evans & Associates v. Espinosa.
