California lien claimants must begin using their Uniformed Assigned Name — which ensures they can be properly associated with cases when using the Electronic Adjudication Management System — beginning on June 25, the Division of Workers' Compensation announced Tuesday.
The DWC said attorneys, claims administrators and some lien claimants already use UANs, which are assigned by the division. In fact, the EAMS database shows thousands of lien filers have already created those numbers.
