The California Medical Board has revoked the medical license of a Los Angeles physician who was convicted of rape and other sexual offenses. Dr. Farhad Davidi was sentenced to three years in prision in March 2004 after he pleaded no contest to sexual penetration by a foreign object, forcible rape and rape of an unconscious victim. The Medical Board prohibited Davidi from practicing medicine in August 2003, a month before prosecutors formally charged him with rape, elder or dependent adult abuse and other offenses.
