A former Santa Monica pain management physician will serve three years in jail after entering into a plea deal on a charge of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.
Daniel Shin, whose medical license in California has been revoked, pleaded no contest to the charge of prescription fraud in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Aug. 5.
