Governor Picks Daniel Fridrich as Comp Court Judge

Gov. Dave Heineman announced on Tuesday that he has appointed Daniel R. Fridrich of Omaha to serve as a judge on the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court.   The appointment fills a vacancy due to the retirement of Judge Ronald L. Brown.Fridrich, 41, has practiced law for 15 years in Nebraska and has served for 10 years as senior counsel for workers’ compensation for Werner Enterprises, Inc.Prior to his work with Werner Enterprises, Fridrich was an attorney at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and an associate attorney with Luebs, Leininger, Smith, Busick and Johnson.
